Philip Stahl, Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist based out of San Diego, California, though his work takes him all over the country for over 30 years. Dr. Stahl is a practitioner, teacher, and author, specializing in high conflict families of divorce. He has served on numerous committees and task forces designed to improve the quality of work in his field. In addition, Dr. Stahl teaches judges, attorneys, psychologists and other mental health professionals about issues affecting families and children.![]()

Dr. Stahl is a provider of continuing education for psychologists, clinical social workers, marriage and family therapists, and attorneys. He has conducted trainings throughout the United States for child custody evaluators and others working with high-conflict families of divorce throughout the United States.
In the last several years, Dr. Stahl has begun to teach judges. He is on the faculty of the National Judicial College and the National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges. Dr. Stahl has also taught judges at state sponsored training in Arizona, California, Virginia, Texas, Michigan, Florida, Utah, and Ohio.
He continues to provide numerous workshops every year.
