2015 Custody Evaluation Update & 2015 Domestic Violence Update

Attend both days or a single day to receive an annual update on legal and psychological issues, new laws, the latest research and practice tips pertinent to family law and domestic violence. Each day is described below in more detail. For your convenience, you may register via online now, by fax or by mailing in cash or a check.
Note that these workshops will apply either to your 40 hour requirement (if you are gaining hours to become eligible to perform child custody evaluations) or to satisfy the annual requirement for 8 CE hours of child custody and 4 hours of domestic violence training for 2015. While these workshops will be focused at an advanced level, they will be useful and eligible for those attempting to earn their initial 40 hours of continuing education credits. Attorneys have an opportunity to learn critical child custody and psychological issues to assist in their practice.

2015 Domestic Violence Update
Philip M. Stahl, PhD with Emberly Cross, JD and Robert A. Simon, PhD
This interactive workshop will be the 4-hour domestic violence update on legal and psychological issues related to domestic violence as required by the California courts. It will address new research and new laws, as required by Rule of Court 5.230.
Additionally, Dr. Stahl will focus on the latest research on domestic violence and Emberly Cross, JD will again discuss the latest CA laws and proposed statutes. Along with Robert A. Simon, PhD, participants will brainstorm various case scenarios to help in the consideration of evaluation strategies and assessment practices.
